Ed's experience spans more than thirty years in the machine tool industry. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ed received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's University and, in 1996, he attained his MBA degree. He became president in 1994.

Additionally, Ed has served in other roles within the machine tool industry such as Chairman of the Haas Dealer Council, the Renishaw Distributor Advisory Council, Board Member of Alliant Machine Tool Corporation, and Regional Chairperson of the American Machine Tool Distributor Council (AMTDA). He has also been active in the local Philadelphia Chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) and instrumental in establishing Haas Technical Education Centers (HTEC) in Williamsport, PA and Schnecksville, PA.

With a formal background as tool & die maker, Fred brings practical metalworking experience to his role as vice president. In his fourteen years with Lance Co., Fred has served various roles as product manager, applications engineer, and sales manager. His extensive experience provides great assistance to both customers and sales staff alike. Fred is currently regional chairman for the mid-atlantic region of AMTDA and serves in an advisory capacity for the bi-annual Mid-Atlantic Machine Tool Show.

I bring 31 years of metal working experience to serve you, 25 years of which was direct shop experience. I served a four-year Tool & Die apprenticeship at Eastern Montgomery Tech School finishing in the top 1 percentile. I came from a strong background of operating and programming CNC equipment as well as designing and engineering. This extensive knowledge enables me to be an informed facilitator in the sales process to better assist you. I look forward to hearing from you.

I joined the Lance Company as a Sales Engineer in 1987 and am responsible for the sales of Lance's products and services in a six-county territory. I am a founding member of American Machine Tool Distributors Associations' CMTSE Accreditation for sales engineers and have maintained my accreditation since 1993. I am a graduate of Boston University College of Engineering (BS in Engineering Management). I retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel and rated as a commercial pilot with both airplane and rotorcraft ratings. I maintain an active participation in the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the National Tooling and Machining Association. I have been with the Lance Company three years as of 2008. Prior to joining Lance, I worked as a prototype specialist for a major farm machinery company in Lancaster County, PA for seventeen years. I hold a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering and bring over 25 years of Machine Tool Sales experience calling on customers in the Delaware Valley area. My professional and technical approach has helped me develop strong relationships with you, the customer, based upon a keen insight into your manufacturing requirements.

I have over 30 years of machine tool industry experience working for lathe and machining center manufacturers and distributors in field sales and sales management. I served my apprenticeship with Warner & Swasey (Cleveland, Ohio) and spent six years covering territories in Iowa, Nebraska and Illinois before moving to Pennsylvania. My formal education includes a Bachelor degree from Kent State University. I have worked in the Philadelphia region for the last 25 years and have a wealth of information in metalworking applications. I joined Lance Company as a sales engineer in 2005 covering parts of eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. I will do anything I can to increase your companies productivity.

I have a long machine tool history with Phillips Corporation (parent company of the Lance Company) beginning in 1981. I have served customers in MD, DE, VA, and DC with my easy going consultative sales approach while introducing new technology and higher productivity solutions. Watching my customers grow as a result of this relationship has been the greatest source of personal satisfaction. Continually putting "customers first" has been a key to my sustained success in the industry over the last three decades.

I started with Lance in 1995 and cover the central PA sales territory. I have over 20 years experience in manufacturing engineering and have managed many international technology transfer programs.

I have also completed several engineering and business management courses at Penn State University and is the Lance resident NASCAR expert!

Coming from companies that manufacture products that are not common, I bring 14 years of machining experience to my role in sales. I have worked for companies that manufactured products made out of honeycomb, plastics, metals, and glass. I came from a technical high school were I first started my career in machining on manual equipment, and learning the basics of programming CNC machines. While I was in the shop I set up, programmed, and ran 3 to 5 axis machining centers. I also have Master Cam training that helps me explain the programming process to you and understand any of your programming concerns.

I have been with the Lance family for over three years. I am a graduate of California State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management.
