They ran so well, held sizes so good, Had so many "Wanted Features" that I said to myself I would like to buy Haas when ever I have my own shop. Well here it is 5 Years later and I have my first (2) Haas Machines. (Vf-2 Super Mill, SL-10 Lathe). When we were in the process of Buying and looking at the different options (as there are many) we met with Art Morrill a Salesman from Lance Co. Art had went thru a lot of information with us when we got together, about all the listed options for each machine, and in no way was ready to go Home until we were satisfied. We spent a lot of time with this man,looking over everything, and was very much full of information that we could put together a purchase that we could really use. Art was here on the day of delivery of our equipment, like an expectant father to be. He helped out any way he could to make sure the whole process went as smooth as it could. He has been back several times to check and see if everything is ok, and if there was anything we needed. I personally consider Art to be one of my friends, a good friend. Service is great too. All Machines need some kind of Service from time to time. We are very happy on the timely manner all Service is handled. The Tech shows up early, has everything needed on the truck, Gets the Job done, and it is fixed right, the first time. We could not ask for better. Overall Lance Co has filled our needs here with everything we expected. Sincerely, Paul P Sagun Jim Borden I have been very pleased with the performance of three HAAS machines that I have (TM1, VF0 and VF2). I have owned other brands of machines that have not been able to deliver the performance I get from Haas. The service personnel from the HFO (Lance) has been great and that is one of the key areas that differs from other brands I have owned. This is one particular area that has made it a pleasure to work with Haas machines. When I have had questions or issues or things go wrong, I have been able to depend on the folks at Lance to get here and get the issue corrected in a professional and timely manner. Chemglass, Inc. First allow me to give you a little history about how our relationship has developed. Approximately five years ago we were in the market for a CNC Mill and I met with Jim McCloskey. Jim was very professional as he explained in detail the advantages of HAAS CNC's but I was convinced "box way" style machines were better. Jim was very cordial and composed even though he didn't make the sale that day. Chemglass continued to grow exponentially and a small (2,000 ft²) machine shop with three employees soon turned into 11,000 ft² and 18 employees. Spring of 2005 I called on Jim to quote on a Super Mini Mill and a SL-10. We were developing a prototype/engineering department and we were on a budget. Both machines combined were a better deal than buying one from a competitor, so we decided to give Haas a try. We were impressed with the way Jim handled our transition into Haas equipment. He was efficient, cooperative, and reassuring. He was so confident that we would be happy with Haas and Lance we felt excitement and couldn't wait to get our hands on the new machines. Not only were we happy but relieved that we could purchase American made machines and have excellent service technicians so close. Now less than a year and half later we have:

So when budgets allow and the timing is right you have to strike. Chemglass is a progressive manufacturer of scientific apparatus serving chemist worldwide. Bob Wyche has handled many panicked phone calls from my foreman and always tried his best to get us out of a jam (and he pulled off some really quick fixes). Bob is a great asset to your team. Mark Schankweiler should also be commended for keeping the service department organized and efficient. His hard work shows in the quality and efforts of your technical department. Jim McClosky continues to show his cooperative efforts and professionalism. He follows up on questions or problems. He is punctual with his appointments and correspondence. He also is very efficient (he doesn't waste his or our time). I cannot say enough good things about Jim. You should be proud that he and all of the others at Lance represent your vision. Sincerely, Krug Machine Company Inc Steve, now that we have been running our new Haas VF-3 for 2 weeks, I wanted to send you this message to let you know how happy I am with not only the machine, but also the service and people at Lance Company. It has been a pleasure working with everybody, and I especially would like to thank you for all your help in ordering our new machine. The people you put me in touch with for rigging and financing were the best. As you know the decision to buy a new Haas was made a long time ago because, we have the first and oldest VF-1 in the state of Maryland, serial #1086, which still runs every day. The machine has been great for over 18 years with very few problems. I have other CNC machines in the shop, but none have lasted as long as our Haas, or has been as dependable. Attn: Jim McCloskey Dear Jim: I have been a user of Haas products for over twelve years now and have purchased fifteen machining centers and nine rotary products. I have never experienced any major difficulties that weren't easily and quickly repairable on any of their products. I am a third generation job shop and have done work as a defense contractor in precision machined parts in a wide variety of materials. The Haas machines have had no problems with any job or variety of materials that I run in them, ranging from 45 Rc 4340 to aluminum. I have also had great results in reselling my older Haas machines when updating with newer and faster models. My overall results using Haas equipment over the years has been very positive and I expect and feel confident that it will stay that way. Sincerely, MDL Manufacturing Indus. Inc. I just need to tell you what a pleasure it is doing business with Haas and The Lance Company. The recent purchase of the VF6-50, and Two VF2's with shuttle tables went better then Larry McClanahan or I could have ever expected. You sold our used machines for a fair market price and gave MDL an excellent value on the new machines. You installed the machines promptly and your service installer is as good as we have ever experienced. Our machinists and programmers love the ease and functionality of the control. Larry and I both feel Haas has the best up times in the industry because when it does breaks down, and they all do, you will have MDL back in business in one day. My wish is that our other machinery dealers treated us as good a Lance and Haas does. In 2006, over 12 months ago we purchased seven Kia machines at a cost of over 1.3 million dollars. It took over seven months to install all the machines and to date the installation of the control options is still not complete. The Kia's are excellent and reliable machines however service is just as important. What an impact it has made on our quality and output. Defective parts that we used to rework or throw away and replace, that ate up so much of our capacity, are almost non-existent anymore. The accuracy of this machinery is incredible. We are machining to within .001 and .002, with beautiful surface finishes. The time we are saving from the elimination of re-works and re-runs, is allowing us to achieve more and more output with the same personnel. The controller is easy to understand and use, and our operators now fight with each other to run the EC1600, where they used to fight with each other to be relieved from the old machines. We are very pleased, and will definitely be back for more machinery before too long. Thanks so much for your professional insight and practical assistance regarding our learning curve. Our two lathes (SL-20 and SL-30) have been reliable and efficient. In fact, we’ve achieved our uptime goal this year on those machines, allowing us to bring back some work that we had outsourced. The new rotary table that arrived last week will be a big help on any one of our four mills (VF-OE, VF-2, (2) VF-3). We take advantage of the fact that we’ve standardized our set-ups, programming, tools and fixtures around these solid machines. It sure beats the four different mills that we owned in the past.
