To improve the productivity of American manufacturers in the mid-Atlantic area by providing the best manufacturing technology and technical support in the world, so that they may compete globally.

Lance distributes metal cutting machine tool products and related manufacturing technology throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Since 1946, we have provided metal cutting solutions to thousands of manufacturing facilities and machine shops in the Mid-Atlantic region. These solutions include precision CNC machine tools, expert service and repair, machine tool programming and operator training, comprehensive maintenance services, trade-ins and pre-owned machine sales.

Over thirty people comprise Lance Co. with more than half of us focused on customer service and technical support. In fact, this is the keystone of our company. No machine tool builder or distributor in the Mid-Atlantic area provides more and better trained field service technicians than Lance. In fact, metrics used to measure our service performance show that we fix the machine problem on the first service call greater than 90% of the time.

Founded by Lemuel Lance, Lance Co. has been a division of the Phillips Corporation since 1986. Phillips Corporation consists of six different divisions, all of which either distribute or manufacture machine tool technology. Located in Hanover, MD, Phillips Corporation employs over 300 people worldwide.

Our main location is our 15,000 sq. ft. facility in Bensalem, PA that hosts our main showroom and parts warehouse. Hanover, MD contains our regional facility. Both locations contain fully-outfitted showrooms for machine demonstrations and classrooms for customer training.
